- Provide knowledge of English as a second language such that the Southern Sudanese people can effectively communicate and function within the community.
- Teach students how to access available services, increase academic achievement, reduce lingual-cultural barriers, develop healthy relationships with parents, teachers, and peers, and successfully advocate for their needs.
- Help youth develop leadership skills, problem solving skills, and a sense of community responsibility.
